Class Styles on Offer…
Hatha
The foundation of all modern yoga, Hatha yoga is slow and steady. Classes aim to bring the body and mind into balance, and they usually include yoga poses, mindful breathing, and meditation. Perfect for yoga beginners.
Yoga Nidra
Powerful and restful guided meditation. Combined with either yin or restorative yoga, yoga nidra usually includes body and breath awareness and visualisation practices. Previous meditation experience not needed.
Vinyasa Flow
The defining feature of Vinyasa is movement that flows with the breath. These classes tend to be dynamic, though they include slower and stiller moments to warm up and wind down.
Meditation & Mindful Movement
An opportunity to connect to the moment and to Self using various meditation techniques, followed by a range of gentle movement practices which foster mindfulness, joint-health and vitality. No prior yoga or meditation experience required.
Yin Yoga
With influences from traditional Chinese medicine, yin yoga is slow and stretchy. Postures are held for 3-10 minutes to access deeper connective tissue and balance the body and emotions. Suitable for all.
Restorative
Restorative yoga involves supporting the body with plenty of props to find deep comfort and relaxation. Postures are held for anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes, with guidance to support relaxation and space for silence as well. Another great class for beginners!
